Is the GLUCOCARD X-METER system affected by maltose and/or icodextrin?

0

The GLUCOCARD X-METER uses glucose dehydrogenase. Icodextrin and its metabolites (maltose, maltotriose, and maltotetraose) will cause falsely higher results. If this is a concern for you, the GLUCOCARD 01 systems may be a better option for you.
