Is the Gen2 product range interchangeable with the current products available today?

In terms of fit, form, and function, Gen2 is directly interchangeable. The only mechanical difference concerns the location of the optional Conduit Box. On the Gen2 model the box is positioned 90 degrees on center, compared to the original model which is positioned 60 degrees on center.
