Is the GBA game link port physically different from the GBC link port?
The only difference is that there is an extra notch on the GBA link port. This is to prevent GBA-Only link cables from being used on a GBC. GBC link cables will work fine to connect two GBA’s that wish to link to play a GBC game. A GBC link cable probably won’t work for GBA link games due to link electrical differences.
