Is the Garmin Nuvi 255w GPS all its cracked up to be?
I can recommend the Garmin Nuvi 255w GPS Navigation system because I have used it and it is the greatest invention since sliced bread. But see what other reviewers had to say about it: I was moving my son to Brooklyn, NY to attend law school. Since I would be driving the van I did not want to get lost in the city. Usually I just do Mapquest and clutch the pages in my hand but the “kids” I work with talked me into buying a Garmin. I really LOVE this little thing. It’s up there with the washing machine and microwave in the Convenience Hall of Fame. I tend to be a technological idiot but I figure this out, right out of the box and I hadn’t even read the directions yet–this is major easy. The screen is easy to see, the voice tells you where you are and it’s very accurate. It was accurate to the minute when it told me when I would arrive home. I would recommend this to anyone. I haven’t stopped talking about it. I purchased the Garmin 255W about 2 months ago. The unit works great as advert
