Is the Future Friendly program available to consumers nationwide?
In April 2009 we started a U.S. pilot of the Future Friendly program in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The goal of this is to work with our partners directly to understand how we can best help consumers save energy, save water and reduce waste. Once the pilot is complete, we will determine our next steps. Future Friendly has operated as a multi-brand effort in the UK and Canada since 2007, where it is supported by third parties such as Global Cool, the Energy Saving Trust, Water Wise and others.
