Is The Fred Parks Law Library open to the general public?
South Texas College of Law is a private school. Accordingly, our primary purpose is to serve matriculating students and faculty. Because the library is a partial U.S. government documents depository, we allow the general public restricted access to library materials and facilities. For example, practicing attorneys and their staff members regularly use the library’s research materials. Nonetheless, the College reserves the right to limit access by public patrons. For a detailed explanation, visit the “Patron Services Department” webpage and view the subsections entitled “Library Access Policy” and “Computer Usage Policy.
