Is the Florida child support calculator accurate for 50/50 custody?
Your right it is different with joint custody. With joint custody when you each have the child 50/50 time, usually no one pays support. If one parent makes significantly more than the other, the one that makes more (does not matter which), will pay “some” support to “even” out the incomes. So the judge would not be following the standard calculator. You only follow the standard calulator when you have the weekend only agreement that you mentioned.
