Is the FishN Chip data that came preloaded on my Platinum+ chip the same as the new FishN Chip data?
A. No. The preloaded Platinum+ Fish’N Chip and the new Fish’N Chip are completely different. The preloaded Platinum+ Fish’N Chip comes from our original Fish’N Chip product that contains offshore bathymetric detail, wrecks and rocks. The new Fish’N Chip contains 1′ contour detail for over 70 inshore bay/river areas of the US coasts and Great Lakes. It also includes extensive vegetation and marsh area detail, tides & currents, critical navigation aids, and much more!
