Absolutely! This is truly unique to the Dual SFX Frag Pro, Dual SFX Evolution and the FragFXv.2 / SE – it is fully firmware upgradeable! (NOTE: THERE IS SEPERATE FIRMWARE FOR EACH OF THE CONTROLLERS) Early shipped versions of the Dual SFX Frag Pro (known issue) Versions of the Dual SFX Frag Pro shipped in the end of October 2009, may require a firmware upgrade. My Controller still stops at times (Wireless Dual SFX Frag Pro and Dual SFX Evolution) If you have the most current firmware installed and your controller stops frequently on the PS3 and then starts up again after a few seconds delay, (and a hardware problem is ruled out by support) then you are likely in a high radio frequency area. This can sometimes be helped by using the (supplied) USB extension cable to reposition the receiver dongle – however it may be necessary to locate the source of the interference in order to ensure stable operation.
