obviously, everyone knows the Titanic did sink in 1912, but the rest of the story probably never happened the jack and rose relationship was added for interest and romance, Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater never existed though the standards of people were similar to that time: the dresses, the expectations, the religion and classes of people it was created to show an aspect of history, but mainly to entertain people and make money as all movies are made for still, very good and successful movie 🙂
