Is the film Paranormal activity really as scary as people are saying?
Well, it does depend on what scares you and what doesn’t. Here’s my opinion: I thought it was absolutely rubbish. I actually get quite scared watching horror films, and so I was quite nervous about going to see this, especially because it was the first horror film I’m seen in a cinema. I’d already been told roughly what happens, and the ending, and I’d been warned that the first half hour was slow and boring and the ending was really, really scary. And it was true, the first half hour was boring. Then I began thinking, “hang on a minute, this is a really slow half hour” – then I realised it was an hour (if not more) into the film and I was still bored out of my mind! I won’t say what happens because I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet or not, but everything that happens is either predictable or quite funny really!
