Is The Film “Othello” by shakespeare really boring?

The PLAY “Othello” which is by Shakespeare is not boring at all, it’s a pretty intense story with lots of twists and turns and is very entertaining. There are a number of film versions so obviously it is dependant on which version you watch.

The film is NOT by Shakespeare ,the play was written by him ,the various film adaptations are by other people. I once thought all Shakespeare plays were boring when I had to study them at school. Now I will watch them by choice. I have my favourites and non-favourites but have not seen any of the adaptations of Othello yet.

No, it’s actually a really faithful adaption of one of Shakespeare’s best plays! Kenneth Brannagh’s Iago is amazing, because he can say the complex lines as though he’s just thinking of them, not like he’s learned his lines! Fishbourne is a wonderful Othello, well cast for his prescence. Othello is a repected military leader in the Venician army, and the role needed Fishbourne’s dignity to carry the play. It’s worth it for his lovely voice too, all deep and sexy. The dialogue is clear, and the acting means you can tell what’s going on, even if some of the lines escape you. Also, the set is beautiful! Hope this helps!
