Is the fiberglass tail skid better or worse that the new aluminum one that Murphy now supplies?
A. Both types of tail skids have their advantages and disadvantages. We are however unimpressed with the long term performance of the fiberglass tail springs and as a result have switched to our own Murphy made aluminum tail spring. We suggest to all Rebel builders that if they have been supplied with the fiberglass tail spring to replace them with the new Murphy aluminum tail spring. Back to Top Q.
