Yes. Just like Andrew Jackson’s fight with the First National Bank run by a character that Jackson despised, he had the power to shut the bank down for good. Jackson was the first egalitarian President, but he was also barbaric when it came to the Cherokee Nation v. Georgia adjudicated by the Supreme Court, John Marshall Chief Justice. Jackson said, “If Marshall says that is the law, then let John Marshall enforce that law.” Marshall has just said, “As long as the sky is blue and the grasses green, the lands owned by the Cherokee belong to them forever.” So, when you do some research on Native American Culture you will find that not one treaty signed between them and us were ever honored. The whites took what they wanted and gave the Native Americans lands that they didn’t want or did not need.
