Is the exercise program too intense for complete beginners?
“Too intense” is feedback I’ve had from some well meaning souls around the gym I joined. I don’t agree with them, mainly because thousands of beginners have had success with this program. However, I think it is too complicated. Juggling different weights and different rep numbers per set while trying to measure your intensity is too hard. A simplified program (constant rep numbers) is probably a good fall back if you, like me, find the intensity method a source of never-ending frustration.
