Is the examples booklet required?
The booklet of examples and handouts is also required, and you may get this at Notes-N-Quotes (corner of University and Nagle). This booklet provides detailed examples which you may follow for your homework (and later research!), as well as other information. I will refer to it directly numerous times in the lectures. Since the current booklet mostly contains examples from my 601 class, I will also be adding to it with handouts in class. I am always updating the booklet and will appreciate your suggestions on improvements. • Will I need a SAS manual? There is a short manual, Introduction to SAS, that some students find helpful. However, a SAS manual is not required because the examples I provide are intended to suffice. The examples provide both complete analyses worked in SAS and exposition on how to do them.
