Yes, ABII has used a job analysis as the basis for the IIP examination. An article describing the initial practice analysis entitled “Defining the PACS profession: an initial survey of skills, training, and capabilities for PACS administrators appeared in the Journal of Digital Imaging, Vol. 18:4, December, 2005.
