Is the European Catholic Church breaking USA marriage laws?
I’m catholic and never heard of this but their title speaks for itself Europen catholic church all churches I know are called st peters st pauls etc I found that title strange they have no right to blackmail and that’s what it is to give up your personal records it’s nothing to do with getting married or the church, I would go to another church if I was you, and do not give up any of your details you could also threaten too sue ‘not something I usually advocate but in this case’ for infringement of your human rights, that would get there attention in the diocese it sounds like the priests policy never heard of it anywhere else!
