Is the environment a real concern of 1000 Planets?
Yes. D.A.R.T will develop solutions to some earth bound problems while developing the infrastructure for living in space. Several of the other concepts such as portable solar power generators will also help the environment. However it should be noted that the environment is not the main aim of 1000 Planets, getting into space is. However the benefits of getting into space will in turn benefit the Earth. The possibility of helping the global environment is a good bonus.
