Is the English language Easy or Difficult to Learn?

I believe each person has his own answer about himself depending on his native language and his ability and desire to learn it. It can be very easy for someone who already speaks another Romance language to learn it because there are many similarities between them. In fact, as we know, all romance languages come from Latin itself, so many words are exactly the same with a few differences of pronunciation or spelling. On the other hand, someone who speaks a language from the Asian world or from the Arabic world may have a very hard time learning English.
