Is the elton john 60th birthday live performance from Carnegie Hall available in DVD ?
It looks as though there is a release of a special “Greatest Hits” CD and DVD boxed set that was scheduled to release at the same time as the birthday bash. However, that is not the performance from NYC. Two hours of the celebration was televised on April 5th on a channel called “MyNetworkTV”. It’s called, appropriately enough, “Happy Birthday, Elton”. This leads me to believe that, at some point in time, you will be able to purchase a DVD of the television program. I have not read anything specific about whether or not that will be released and when that may be.
