What are the trainer registration requirements for this qualification? In order to become a registered CIEH First Aid trainer, you must hold a current HSE Approved First Aid at Work certificate. In addition, you must also meet one of the three following combinations of criteria: A detailed, chronological list of evidence to show the trainer has regularly provided FAW training during the previous two years. If this is limited, evidence of other first-aid training that demonstrates all the elements of the FAW syllabus are covered by the trainer’s experience And A teaching or training qualification (e.g. CIEH Professional Trainer’s Certificate) OR A teaching or training qualification (e.g. CIEH Professional Trainer’s Certificate) And Attendance at a CIEH Emergency First Aid at Work event OR A first aid trainers’ course (e.g. from St John Ambulance, Red Cross) And A detailed, chronological list of evidence to show the trainer has regularly provided FAW training during the previous two year
