There’s a nominal charge for being in one of the continuing palliative care units $15 a day which, for most people, is way less than they would get in pension money in any event. So for most people, that nominal cost is not a hardship. There are some gaps in any system. For example, although it is a nominal cost, if the patient is relatively young not in the seniors group and has a family and a mortgage, then that nominal cost can be a burden.
