Yes. ResMap uses the Enhanced Compressed Wavelet v2.0 (ECW) image format. This open standard includes Viewing/Decompression SDK’s, Compression/Encoding SDK’s, and free plug-ins for a wide range of applications. It is the only true open standard available for large imagery.
