I’ve always been a fan of Eclipse H/U’s. The CD2000 is a pretty good value packed unit. 5V pre-outs, ESN security and a well thought-out layout are amongst the pluses. My only comment on the negative side is there isn’t enough EQ sound adjustments for a H/U at this price point. Alpine/Pioneer’s comparable units are a little better at this price point. Since you mentoined you don’t need your H/U to flip down or be motorized, I think you’ll be happy with your purchase.
