Is the earth perfectly round or not?
According to certain earth science satellites dating to the late fifties the planet has a slightly pear-shaped orb. It might be observed that there have been myths and religous beliefs such as those of the Brahmans which hypothesized a sort of doughnut or egg-shaped cosmic soul-Looking somethiing like the oval cloud advertising logos of some airlines like Twa, and this ws flattened slightly to give more of an oval, not relaly spherical shape. Maybe the myths were not so far off!
