Is the Early Childhood Assessment Team the same as Early Childhood Screening?
No. Early Childhood Screening is a program based at Roosevelt Early Childhood Center. Preschool Screening is required for all children prior to entering kindergarten, unless an assessment has been completed by the District Assessment Team. Preschool Screening identifies children who may be in need of further assessment or Early Childhood Special Education services.
