Is the DS Eyepiece suitable for normal eye use as well as for Digiscoping ?

0

Yes it is. Because the DS Eyepiece is configured primarily for use with camcorders and digital still cameras with larger diameter lenses, when being viewed by eye it has a very long eye relief. Additionally, the viewed image may not be completely circular on some scopes. Because the DS Eyepiece has such a large diameter lens and the way it is configured can mean that it exceeds the normal performance limits of some scope bodies. This can result in the normal ”viewable circle’ having flat edges instead of round ones. This phenomenon only results in a very slight loss of the overall viewable area, does not affect quality or use and only occurs on a small number of ‘micro’ scope bodies.
