Is the dog food Beneful ok?
I wouldn’t feed Beneful to any dog, ever. Your dog likes because after they cook the daylights out of it they pour rendered fat all over the kibble to make it taste better. Poor quality foods like Beneful often have sugars in them too, so your dog is getting a very appealing fatty, sugary taste. But you must know that Beneful is truly one of the absolute worst ‘food’ s on the market, and it is made of grain (which dogs cannot digest or use at all) and carcinogenic artificial dyes (which cause cancer). Seriously. I just can’t say this enough – go raw if you want the best health possible. If you cannot see past feeding kibble, at least go grain-free. But please never, EVER feed anything produced Purina, Pedigree, IAMS/Eukenuba or other cheap store brands like Dad’s, Grreat Choice, Alpo, Kibbles n’ Bits, etc. – these are all trash in a bag.
