Is the Divemaster Intern Program (DIP) difficult?
The program is very challenging with some days beginning as early as 6 a.m. and occasionally ending past midnight. Of course, some days are more demanding than others, and the work is exciting and rewarding too. Divemaster candidates will prepare for and take written examinations on eight subjects ranging from diving physics and decompression theory to Divemaster conducted programs. Candidates are also expected to have Instructor demonstration quality scuba skills. Our Divemaster instructor will provide academic reviews and help your fine tune your skills in the water and out.
