Is the dielectric constant of conductor is INFINITY?
The definition of dielectric is that it is an electrical insulator. The dielectric constant was named by Michael Faraday as a measure of how much the capacitance of a capacitor increased when different materials were placed in the gap. Since putting a conductor in the gap would destroy any capacitance, it would have a constant of zero.
