Is the degree awarded to external students the same as that awarded to full time students enrolled at colleges/ institutes of the University of London?
There is only one University of London degree and it is awarded to all students – whether regular or external – of the University. The degree itself carries the following extract from the Statute [66(2)] of the University: “Candidates granted degrees and other awards shall have attained the same academic standard irrespective of mode of place of study or examination”.
