Is the Dean Dave Mustaine Signature Flying V Guitar any good?
The Dean Signature is not a good guitar and actually, doesn’t match its price. We ordered one for the shop and the bridge was broken leaving a hollow gap in the body. The body is not a solid body and is hollow suggesting cheap workmanship. The frets had spots of glue on them. We returned it and bot a new one . AWkward guitar to play sitting down is one thing, but the rough edges doesn’t warrant the price of the guitar. Aside from the neck and pickups, nothing much to say about this guitar except to get something like the top poster suggested, the Jackson King V with jumbo frets. Try the Dean to get it out of your system and DO CHECK the finish. Not worth the dollars. We sold ours at the shop at a loss. What Megadeth plays is tailored to his playing and not necessarily what you may like.
