Is the data transfer more secure with a hard-wired sensor?
Since the data is transmitted directly from the sensor through the CAT5 cabling, there is no store environment or equipment that can possibly affect the communication through the cable, so there is no opportunity for data packet loss or corruption. The data is transmitted only through a self-contained system, so there is no potential for data to be tampered with, retrieved by another device or simply lost.
