Is the data being collected only focusing on attainment data?
No. There is a wide range of data being collected in order to measure outcomes across all three of the strands and to measure the success of the project overall. Attainment data will be collected for Strand 1. However, a further range of qualitative and quantitative data will be collected for Strands 2 and 3. This will include, for example, views from parents on changes in confidence and levels of engagement, data on attendance, changes in behaviour and levels of participation in extra-curricular activities. See Evaluation and impact: Evaluation of Achievement for All (AfA) summary for more details.
