Is the Dance Dance Revolution Metal Pad the Best One to Use?
Dance Dance Revolution is a video game where the player stands on a platform or a Dance Dance Revolution metal pad, that has four arrows on it: left, right, up and down; they tap these arrows with their feet by following corresponding arrows on a screen in front of them while they are flashing along with the beat, or rhythm, of a song. With the home versions of the Dance Dance Revolution game a soft pad is normally what is included and while most people feel that it is good for those that are just starting out, the more serious you become the harder it is for the soft pads to stay in place. They are normally made out of pretty lightweight material and that causes it to slip around quite a bit and it is not always easily discernible exactly where the sensors are in the soft pads making it easier for a misstep to be registered.
