Is the Da Vinci Science Center a part of Cedar Crest College?
The Da Vinci Science Center is not a part of Cedar Crest College. It is an independent, non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status, a separate Board of Trustees, and an independent budget. The Da Vinci Science Center owns its facility and leases the land on which it sits from the college. The relationship between the Da Vinci Science Center and Cedar Crest College is best described as a partnership that provides tremendous benefits for all parties and helps to provide the best scientific educational resource in the region.
