Is the “current assessment” mentioned on page 7 of the RFP the same as the risk assessment used to determine eligibility to receive a Promotor?
No. There are two separate tools currently in use. The risk screening tool is given to youth to determine eligibility for the Promotores. It is administered once. The assessment is given to a youth AFTER they have been accepted and assigned a Promotor. It is designed to provide a much most detailed picture of the needs, risk factors, and protective factors for each youth. It is administered every six months to continually assess the evolving needs of youth, as well as to assist in measuring progress (or regression).
