Is the Coxs Point Haunted Mansion really the oldest Haunted Attraction in Maryland?
Yes. The “Haunted House Program” in The Essex Recreation & Parks Council has been going strong since 1968. Every year, we have guests tell us that their Moms and Dads brought them to us many years ago, and now they are bringing their own children. The Cox’s Point Haunted Mansion has been under the direction of Steve Myers (a professional special effects make-up artist, magician and entertainer) since 1996.
