Is the country chile safe?
I’m British and have been living in Santiago, working north of the City for the last 4 months. I can’t emphsise enough how good the people are. It’s safe as long as you use your common sense, don’t go flashing money around in the street etc, but you wouldn’t do that in any big city. I think in general Chile is as safe if not safer than the US, of course there are good parts and bad parts of every country. You’ll like Chile for the scenery, the people, the culture and the climate.
