The cost of living in the Virgin Islands is higher than average costs in many cities across the US mainland. Recent documents published by the Virgin Islands Legislature estimated that the cost of living in the Virgin Islands is on average 33% higher than many US jurisdictions. However, our beautiful beaches and the turquoise sea are free and the Cruzan Rum is cheap and plentiful!
