The BGC Cornerstone Fund incorporated in 1989 as an Illinois not-for-profit organization, taking over the operations of the Revolving Building Trust. The Fund and its predecessor have been in existence for over 50 years. The Revolving Building Trust started with approximately $88,000 in assets in 1954. The Fund has grown steadily over the years to over $118.1 million in total assets as of 10/8/08. The Fund is continuing to experience great growth allowing us to commit larger dollar amount loans to increasing numbers of churches. Currently the Fund has outstanding loans to 107 churches and ministries of Converge Worldwide (BGC).
