Is the concept of morality ethics a branch of religion or philosophy?

0

Morality & ethics transcend religion & philosophy. Philosophy will help you figure out why certain ethics & morality are valued, it will also help you figure out why religion can apply morality to others & let its members off. It however has not created religion ethics or morality, though it can be used to analyse almost anything, it can also leave you much less certain about these things than before you started. Morality & ethics did not come about because of religion, they are much older than that that & philosophy did not create them either. Though philosophy might be used to refine & give us better thought out ethics & morality.
