Is the concept of God an alternative to two other possibilities explaining all reality?

Physics tells us that there are vast open spaces between the parts of an atom — space between the electrons and the nucleus, for example. The positive or negative attraction between atoms is electrical – that is, energy. So things that seem solid, such as granite, diamond, etc actually contain open space in their atoms and the atoms are held together by energy. Infinite physical substance is not the opposite of infinite nothingness, but is a manifestation of infinite energy, which is a way of looking at God. It seems to me God is not a third possibility but part of the first.
