As Old Know All has pointed out, there’s really no such thing as the compensation culture. I agree with you about the ambulance chasing firms staffed by paralegals which advertised being leeches though and was gratified that the two largest ones in the UK, Claims Direct and the one I can’t remember, both went bust.

Two fine examples of the “compensation culture” lawyers would be John Edwards (very wealthy ambulance chaser) and ALGORE- who moved on to scamming the World with his Global Warming debacle. They make their money off scam jobs and have no problem facing the public with a self righteous attitude. The rules only apply to all of us, not to them.
