Is the community of Chan Chemuyil safe?
Yes, it is safe for families – but take normal precautions and be sure to lock the doors to your rental casa. Also, do not leave valuables in your car and always lock it. Neighbors are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help each other out. However, other than our on-site managers, do not allow strangers into the casa. Kids play in the streets and on the beach – making new friends with other vacationers on a daily basis. We have had amazing feedback from our guests – some of which were visiting Mexico for the first time not knowing what to expect due to the news. Our economically priced vacation rentals are located in the heart of the Riviera Maya allowing visitors to explore everything the area has to offer.
