Is the commitment referred to above new money?
The foundations involved in the Partnership are increasing their prior support of higher education in Africa by reallocating funding from other areas of foundation expenditure and by committing new funding. The goal is to double support for higher education in Africa over the first five years from $50 million to $100 million, and to more than $300 million over the life of the Partnership.
