Is the color non-unisex, or is the baby furniture themed?
If you are really set on this option, consider whether or not your planned nursery theme will carry through to when your baby is a toddler. (It comes around quicker than you think!) If not, a convertible baby crib in this color or theme may not be a good idea. Rather buy a less expensive standard baby crib and pass it on to the next baby. Is the finish dark or light? A dark finish can add a touch of class to a baby nursery, but if your room is too small, dark furniture will look big and clunky and will suck all the light from the room. Also remember that a dark finish looks best with light bedding for contrast. If you are planning on a convertible baby crib, bear in mind that dark furniture will usually not work well in a kid’s or teenager’s room.
