Is the cob from the corn on the cob good for dogs?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! A dog rarely ever chews the cob enough for proper digestion. Can’t tell you how many times dogs have come to ER with a blockage from corn cobs! Stop, don’t do it anymore unless you’ll willing to take the chance of losing your dog and a huge chunk of your wallet for surgery.

No. Try giving your dog a carrot or slices of apple. All of the dogs I’ve worked with love sweet carrots and apples. I found they love it when I freeze a bit of apple or carrot in an ice cube, they just go nute for them!

i would allow my lab to chew on it, but never actually eat the whole thing, im sure it’s not good at all.

Just watch the dog closely and watch for a bowl movement. I feed mine fresh veggies but not corn as the corn does not digest very well. When the dog poops u will see the corn is still whole all over the poop. I do not suggest u giving the dog anymore corn.
