Is the CO sensor life affected by temperature and humidity?
Temperature – The operating life of the CO sensor is not greatly affected by temperature when kept within the rated operating temperature range. Prolonged operating or non-operating exposure to temperatures outside the rating may damage the sensor. Humidity – Continuous operating or non-operating exposure (months) to humidity above 90% can cause damage to the sensor. Continuous operating or non-operating exposure (months) to humidity below 10% can shorten the life of the sensor.
